The amount of times I have come rudely served, and I have been served before by both ladies that work there and the elderly man, very rude non of them have any good customers service in their bones, unfortunately for me it's the only Amazon return close to my home. The amount of negative reviews is concerning, they need to be reviewed by an external body whether they fit to serve or change the management

IN RESPONSE: as stated by two employees of Royal Mail the information I gave you was correct. That’s just the end of that discussion. I chose to not convolve the police further out of civic sense, as I didn’t wish to make them waste their energy and time over a couple of incompetent mean individuals. I asked a yes or no question while a lady with a stroller was next to me. I didn’t touch nor push anyone, I raised my voice in frustration, thats not verbal abuse. I’m also going to stand up for myself and argue back when I’m given absolutely false information in a rude tone and my parcel is being held unfairly. This has all been reported to the post office customer service. I gave you my tracking number, I gave you my Id, that was enough. Both Post office and Royal Mail customer service agree with me. You aren’t doing your job correctly. I had to be there for hours because I was trying to get my parcel, I have no interest in yelling at strangers or argue with any of your stuff. I wanted my parcel and I had what was required of me. You were simply in the wrong and the post office complaint will confirm that.
Not surprised to see so many other bad reviews complaining about the same exact issue: the two ladies at the counter are absolutely vile people
Came to collect a parcel that has been redelivered to this branch
The lady immediately tells me the tracking number I have both on my red slip and every correspondence with Royal Mail is not the correct one because it doesn’t end in GB (not all tracking numbers end in gb…)
And just starts telling me “this isn't Royal Mail it’s a post office, you need to call Royal Mail to get the tracking code that ends in gb” as if that means anything
Argued with them the whole day, got told I was abusing them for trying to get my parcel and obviously getting frustrated about an absurd situation created by someone who clearly doesn’t understand how to do their job.
I called Royal Mail two different times, one of which in front of these two ladies asking customer service if they had any idea what these people were talking about.
they said both times that not all tracking numbers end in GB, that my tracking number was 100% correct and valid, that the post office should give me my parcel if I have Id and the red slip and to write a complaint with the post office customer service, which I already did. On the post office site theres no mention of the tracking number ending in GB, it just says to bring the red slip. And everyone I spoke to on the phone said it was crazy behaviour and to write a complaint.
Now they refuse me service because I “abused them”. I tried to call the police because I have no idea what Else I’m meant to do when a third party is denying me access to my property and making up rules.
I asked a friend to go collect the parcel for me but they just kept telling her about how insane I was and kept lying about needing a different tracking number which does not exist as confirmed twice by Royal Mail workers.
Another young man was working at this branch that day, he was sweet and kind although he clearly hasn’t been trained properly and was just repeating what the manager lady (who was next to him yelling at me the whole time) was saying which is clearly just wrong. I feel bad for him and I don’t want to imagine what it’s like to work under such people.
Wishing him the best honestly
Btw the people responding to these reviews are clearly the same ones causing all of this havoc and distress.

I went there to send an international parcel and bought the label online. She first said the size is big for a medium parcel and measured it.
The size was fine. She then said it should be 90cm for all added sizes. I went online in front of her and tried to buy a medium 5kg ((weight of my parcel was 3.7kg) to Italy and the size was indeed 46 x 46 x 61 like the UK.
She then said the rule changed on 7th of April this year and Royal Mail is different from the Post Office and I can take the parcel to the Royal Mail delivery office which is closed. She said they can accept a small parcel, not medium.
When I bought the parcel online, it gave me a number of options where I can drop off my parcel and chose this post office. I have never had issues sending an international parcel or Uk parcel where label is bought online. This is just ridiculous.

Worst post office I have ever visited. The employees are so rude and they are there not to help, infact they want to put you in trouble. The least they can do is to smile and greet the customer. I will go an extra mile to pick and drop my stuff but will never go again to this post office.
